SoFA DESIGN INSTITUTE FASHION PHOTOGRAPHY CLASS :: Demo Photo Shoot of the Male Form in Available Light

Hello Everyone,

It has been a while since I made a blog update, work and several backlogs caught my time and now, since I have a new wave of work coming in weeks to come, I thought I should already put some of my works out so as to air out some hard drive space in my computers and keep you guys in tune with what I've been doing behind the lens.

Here are several photos from a quick demo shoot I did from my recently concluded Fashion Photography term in SoFA Design Institute. An activity to understand the male form in a fashion context and I asked my students to style our model and be observant on how to shoot in available light, outdoors a la guerrilla-style.

Let’s begin the year with a musical feast as Bamboo rocks the January issue of MEGA Man donned in denim to denim ensemble. His enigmatic presence defines his style and his personality in the hit TV show, The Voice of the Philippines and having said that, he is totally on-board with the theme of the shoot which involves him climbing up ledges. As he boldly stares at the lens, Bamboo shares the social stigma the rockstar life brings.

Amidst the stereotypical scene, Bamboo stands out from the rest as he shares his preferred healthy lifestyle. We now see more of Bamboo as he takes on television which he did not really put into his perspective at the onset of his musical career. Get to know more of the rockstar cover, the must-know regimen to fight aging, the steps to climb in being truly wealthy, and while you’re at it Jag has covered in all things rugged and cool.
